Transporting over 100 people daily along with airport/hotel pickup and drop off will require several van rentals and possibly a bus. Please consider supporting a daily van transportation expenses including rental, gas and insurance.
Your gift will provide for housing/food expenses for one of the 40+ China scholars to be able to present a paper at the forum.
We realize that quality translators will be essential to the success of the symposium. Finding quality specialized simultaneous translators who can understand theological language with both fluent Chinese to English and English to Chinese (who are available) has been a challenge. We have found a few qualified translators who are willing and available, but need housing, transportation and a stipend support. Please consider supporting top quality simultaneous translators!
Due to the high season travel, airfare cost from China are extremely high. Thank you for helping bring one of the scholars from China to attend.
In a final fundraising effort from within China, a Chinese Christian leader has helped raise enough funds to cover the last remaining 8 speakers international airfare totaling $19,104. This reduces our fundraising need to $45,507 providing some surplus to move forward with the vision to establish a China Christian Research Center following the symposium.
