The Fifth Annual China Theology Symposium will be held from August 22 - 24, 2012 on the campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. Important scholars and Christian leaders from both China and the West will dialogue on issues related to the church in China, from culture and theology to society and missions.
With hopes to diffuse recent tensions between Christianity and Confucianism, a special section will be dedicated to deal with issues related to Christianity and China's traditional culture. Leading academic proponents of contemporary Confucianism have been invited.
The goal of the meeting is to promote a rich dialogue across the boundaries of East and West, as well as of academy and church, on the topic of Christianity in China.
The conference is by invitation only.
