The Arise Myanmar conference represents a significant leap of faith for the local team. In these challenging times, the gathering aims to bring hope and inspire young people to "Go where there is no Gospel."
Rooted in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, which states, "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed," the conference encourages resilience and faith.
The theme of Arise Myanmar 2024 is "Beyond the Limits." Instead of simply going through the routines of "Christian Living," it aims to inspire participants to live courageously and share boldly, reaching beyond their normal boundaries to bring the Gospel to those who have not yet heard.
The conference took place in Yangon, Myanmar, from October 15-16, 2024 with over 700 participants and 128 young people committed to long-term cross-cultural missions. It featured international speakers, breakout sessions, testimonies, and worship time.
Arise Myanmar is set to do follow-up programs and activities.
