Given Cambodia's political and social atmosphere, which can be restrictive of religious activity, the youth Christian fellowship may encounter some difficulties there. Many young Cambodians, however, are actively interested in their local churches and take part in a variety of activities and events that are put on by their youth fellowships. Outreach initiatives, evangelism, social activities, and community service initiatives are a few examples of these activities.
